Con il tappeto Basket, la designer Lena Bergström rende omaggio alla tradizionale tecnica di intreccio dei cesti svedesi, realizzati con strisce di corteccia di betulla. Le fasce in tessuto riproducono le trame dell'intreccio. Il tappeto Basket è completamente realizzato a mano. La speciale tecnica della tessitura manuale in diverse direzioni ne esalta l'aspetto tridimensionale. Diversi fili di colori leggermente diversi creano la lucentezza desiderata. Il tappeto viene poi accuratamente tagliato a mano, in trompe-l'oeil e con un motivo grafico che imita la tradizionale intrecciatura dei cesti svedesi. Angoli acuti e transizioni fluide creano un affascinante gioco di ombre e contrasti. Questo tappeto ha vinto il premio Tappeto dell'anno 2019 di Elle Decoration.
